Cover-up
Cover-up tattoos are not about hiding, they are about rebuilding.
Each cover-up project requires a strategic design approach, built around what already exists in the skin. For this reason, most cover-ups are developed over at least two sessions, allowing for proper layering, value control, and long-term quality.
These projects require an open mindset. Successful cover-ups are not about repeating an old idea, but rethinking it in a way that truly works. I often recommend structured black and grey work and controlled or muted color palettes to integrate the previous tattoo and create a solid new composition.
